This 8-compartment cutlery insert fits neatly inside a standard 500mm² open basket and you can place two side by side. Washing cutlery upright in a proper basket delivers much better cleaning results. This is because the cutlery is upright therefore fully exposed to wash water rather than lying flat, which will shield water flow. Cutlery left lying down may also fall through the basket, potentially damaging wash arms or even pumps.
