Wet Heat Bain Maries
Wet heat bain maries are an extremely versatile piece of catering equipment that can be used for a wide range of applications. Unlike dry heat bain maries which use electric plates to heat food, wet heat bain maries use water as their heating medium and they are also known as water baths. The use of water means they can be used for cooking and as they produce a great deal of steam they are also great for stopping food from drying out.
